I was tagged by Jami to participate in this fun photo tag! What you have to do it go to your photo library, go to the sixth folder and the sixth photo. It was fun to go thru the photos on Don’s computer, since mine is still “out sick.” There are lots of photos I’ve forgotten about over here! It was a funny coincidence that it happened to be this photo:

Do you recognize him? It’s Billy Boyd! This was taken when Don and I went to The One Ring Lord of the Rings Oscar Party back on February 29, 2004! It has to be one of the most fun Birthdays I’ve ever had! It was such a hoot to have somewhere super fun to go to on such a difficult birthdate to coordinate with. We got all gussied up and my Mom watched the boys while we spent the evening at the Oscar party in Hollywood. That was the year Lord of the Rings swept and the energy at the party was outrageous! It only got better as the stars started to arrive at the party after the Oscars were over, climaxed when Peter and the gang took the stage! Crazy fun, I tell ya!

What makes this particularly funny as a coincidence is that Pippin is one of the names we’re considering for our puppy. We’re not settled on any name yet, just have a list of names we like. I decided that I really wanted a happy name. I’ve considered Strider, and that one is still on the list, but as of this moment I’ve been loving Pippin.
