hello! and a challenge!
Well, hello! 🙂
I’ve taken an unexpected blog break. We had a case of the crazies over here in addition to my computer acting silly.
I thought I’d offer a challenge early in the month for those of us needing to make classroom or co-worker goodies. My Mom was given this cute reindeer by a co-worker last year. Truth be told, it was too cute to open up and when she showed it to me a couple of weeks ago I kidnapped it and took it with me. In Owen’s class we’re kind of going with a reindeer theme (I figure it’s pretty neutral) so this was the springboard I needed for his classroom treats.
Isn’t it cute!? Inside it is a Hershey bar! This is a fun alternative to how I usually package the goodies for my boys to hand out to classmates. I like it so much that this is your challenge! Use this candy bar reindeer as inspiration for your own reindeer theme Holiday treat. Post a link to your completed project to this post and on Don’s birthday (December 18th) I’ll pull a random winner for some stamping goodies! I’ll be sharing my version hopefully by this weekend.
It doesn’t have to be a candy bar wrapper, just use a reindeer somewhere on your project. Hopefully this will help me to get them done in advance, instead of my usual “up-till-two” approach. 🙄
I can’t wait to see what you do with this!

I don’t have computer abilities to post a copy of what I am going to do but this is too stinkin’ cute so I’ll have to make some. Thanks for the great idea … and Happy Birthday (on the 18th) to Don.
Oh My Gooooooodnesssssssssssss! You are making 50 of these? Wow, Pixie. Please show us them all when you finish them? That’s quite a herd of reindeer, if you ask me~ 😉
[…] their names on them to wear today. So when I saw the cute Hershey bar reindeer that I shared here (inspiration Hershey bar reindeer) I knew what I had to make for the boys to pass out in […]
Hello,
I LOVE your website. I was wondering if I can have a template for your reindeer candy wrapper? I love the cupcakes too. Did you take a cake decorating class? I will be back on your website often. Judy
