A couple of years ago Target had these wonderful notebooks. They came in different sizes and colors. I waited until they went on clearance then I bought up as many as I could find. Hehehe! I bought so many that I have a very nice stash of different notebooks to alter. I have used up the last notebook I made for myself, so it was time for a new one!

I stamped the big cupcake image (frosting only) with Palette Noir Black on the fabulous white cardstock from PaperTrey. I then stamped the same image on pink polka dot paper from my stash and cut out the cupcake liner. Before adhering the cupcake liner, I stamped Michelle’s Little Scroll over the cupcake and colored with Prismacolors. Since I was paper piecing the bottom, I didn’t have to worry about masking the cupcake. I then adhered the cupcake liner and set aside.

I wanted to make this a monogram project, and thought it would be cute to create a cupcake pick for this. I stamped the letter “e” using my justjohanna exclusive alphabet for Design Team Members only. I then punched it out and colored in the “e” with my Prismacolors. I then matted it on Bashful Blue cardstock and used my scallop scissors to create the decorative matt. I then used my White Gel Pen to add some little dots to the scallops. Next I took a toothpick and trimmed it down with scissors and adhered it to the back of the cupcake pick. I then pierced a hole and inserted the toothpick, securing it from behind with a strong adhesive. I then added Stickles to various parts of the focal image and set aside.

I created a matt for the focal image by using my SU! Slit punch to create the scallops from Pretty In Pink cardstock. I then layered on a strip of faux stitched Bashful Blue cardstock over the scallops to complete the matting. The strips were adhered to the back of the focal image, then the focal image was adhered to the notebook cover.

I then stamped the word “notes” using the same justjohanna alphabet stamps and colored them in with my White Gel Pen. The notebook is completed by tying coordinating ribbons to the side of the notebook.

I just love this cupcake stamp and can’t wait to use it one more projects!
