Aloha!!

Published by at 10:44 am under me

I’ve been absent this week because I’ve been preparing for a trip with my husband! We are going to Hawaii to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary! (January 11th) He will be working while we’re here, so I’m hoping to get some relaxing time in.

I’m very blessed to have my parents taking time off to stay home with my boys! I’m sure they will have a fun time with Grandma and Grandpa!

So, until my return, Aloha!!!

Wow, have fun. I live on Oahu. If you are coming to this island try to make it out to Ko Olina, the Lagoons there are very beautiful. There is a gate but just say you are going to the beach.

Congrats…I went to Hawaii (the big island) when I was barely pregnant with my son (in fact, I didn’t even know at the time). It is so beautiful and makes you long for it ever afterwards…sigh!

Have a wonderful vacation! It’s almost been a year since we spent a week on Kauai. I long to repeat that week again just not with the broken foot again. 🙂

If you’re coming to oahu, A fun, scenic thing to do would be to drive around the coast of the island, from kailua and end up in haleiwa town, north shore.
A year ago we moved to oahu and on our anniversary we started out the day going on the H-3 towards kailua, had early lunch in kailua town, walked the beach, and went on Kam (Kamehaha) highway all the way to north shore. You’ll pass by interesting towns and its a very interesting drive. We didn’t have a map, but i suggest that you have one on hand.My husband used the directions of the mountains always on the left and ocean on the right. And we got lost a little. But we ended up at haleiwa town and had a nice romantic dinner at haleiwa joe’s. There are very interesting places to stop by along the way but you just got to watch your time. We took about 4 hrs from kailua to north shore as we stopped many times for pictures. =)
