blue happiness
More SAB fun! This time I got to use one of my favorite tools, the Marvy Scallop Punches! This is a very quick card with some fun doodling added to the main image.
Card base is Cool Caribben. The edges are sponged and then I used the Color Spritzer tool over the bottom portion of the card to give some added texture. I tought a background stamp would have been too harsh for what I wanted to do, so the Color Spritzer solved the problem for me nicely.
The focal image is stamped on Shimmery White. Used the Green Galore marker and a blender pen dipped in cool Caribben re-inker to color the stamp. I then thumped some Take with Teal for a little added depth to the tops of the flowers, huffed and then stamped. I used the Marvy Giga Scalloped Oval to puch out the image. I added some doodling around the scallops and to the main image. I wanted the flowers to be more defined so I quickly doodled the flower tops and along the sides of the stems. I then added some sparkle with the Sakura Stardust Pen. The sentiment was stamped in Basic Black, tied some black gingham ribbon with a touch of narrow sheer black organdy and it’s done!
My brother’s best friend, who has been a family friend for 15 years at least, is getting married at the end of this month. They sent the cutest picture in a blue invitation, so this will be for them!
