Today I was able to get quite a few things done so I can be home all evening working on the cake. I was able to get Owen registered for Kindergarten, and then we were able to pick up Perrin’s glasses!

I tell him he looks like Superman! Just like Clark Kent when he’s in disguise! He is so hilarious with them right now. He’ll sit and look at things from all angles while he’s getting used to the perscription. We weren’t expecting them until next Friday, so it’s a nice surprise to have them today when we just ordered them on Monday.

Oh, and I played a bit of a dirty joke on Owen yesterday. I took the three of us in for our flu shots and Owen had no idea what was going on. They asked him if he wanted to sit on my lap, he said no. He told them he was a big boy. So he’s sitting there in the chair, holding up his sleeve for them, totally clueless. I told them he doesn’t know what’s going to happen. *bad mommy* They gave him the shot and he just cried! Poor guy! We all went to McD’s for ice cream after that and that seemed to help make things better. Now the three of us have band aids and sore arms! haha!
