. . . what a hand cramp looks like? It looks like 160 “aloha” tags! OUCH! At my Mom’s work today they are having a Hawaiian themed shindig for the managers. She has been working on organizing this for at least a month. Yesterday afternoon she called me wondering if I could come over and help her make some Aloha tags to tie around some cookies. Unfortunately, I had some stuff I needed to work on at home and would not be able to go over. Fortunately, I came up with a pretty easy tag design using the stamp set Do the Hula, emailed her the picture and got to work once she said she liked it!

I started punching the tags with my Marvy Giga Scallop Oval punch out of Whisper White cardstock. I was able to fit the oval on quite a few WW paper scraps, so I was happy about that! (even if the boys were cringing everytime I punched them. It was homework time for Perrin, so it was something good to complain about. Hahaha!)

Next I stamped the word “Aloha” in basic black, taking care to center the word as best as I could. That was when the hand cramp set in! My poor fingers were molded to the stamp. Remember the episode of Friends where Chandler stayed home all day playing the arcade game and couldn’t move his fingers? Yeah, it was like that! Then I went and got my “Hawaiian color palette” of Real Red, Green Galore, Only Orange, and Pink Passion, stamped the flower and the palm frond then I was done!

Quick and simple. They look fun spread over the mat, and I’m glad I don’t have to do them today!
