ROAR! It’s Monster Day! This is the last of my three samples for my SURPRISE VSN Challenge to Make Your Own Holiday! This card was totally inspired by my boys, hahahahaha! When I saw this set, Creepy Crawlies, from TAC, it completely cracked me up! I love the monsters and the sayings that come with it! This card went together quickly thanks to the pre-made card from A Muse.

I stamped the monsters on scraps of Whisper White cardstock with my Palette Black Noir ink pad. I then colored them in with re-inkers and an Aquapainter. What made these quick to color was that I only had to worry about a portion of the monster since the next step was to use my Stampin’ Up! circle punch to punch them out. After punching them out I quickly doodled around the circle border to help define the circles more before adhering them to the card.

For the placement of the circles, I simply followed the design of the notecard and placed them on top of the pre-printed circles where I wanted them to be. I then used my casual snap-stamps to stamp funny words to go with the monsters. Googlie eyes are the finishing touch and this card is done!! I really don’t think this card would have gone together so quickly if it wasn’t for the pre-printed notecard! That is a great way to make quick and cute cards!

I hope you can join me for the LAST day of my challenge! Toninght I will start judging the submissions and the winners will get a special RAK from me!

P.S. This is the orange card I did to make up for giving Bunny the orange card challenge!! haha!
