Woo Hoooo!! The spare tire is on the van and I’ll be getting the flat fixed after I get Perrin from school. Now I can share the rest of the cards I’ve designed from the All the Trimmings Simply Scrappin’ Kit for the class tomorrow!!

The first set of two have my favorite and least favorite out of the group of 10 I’ve done. The red one is my least favorite. That self-adhesive die cut is so ginormous, that I had to use it. But it is also very limiting to the way you can use the space. Remember, I’m thinking quick and simple for these cards for my stampers. I’m considering adding a background stamp to the card, and maybe that will complete it more for me. The ornament stamp comes from the Hung Up on the Holidays stamp set. I adore that set! It’s darling and the images match this scrappin’ kit, too! The greeting is from Many Merry Messages and the Craft White ink pad was used for all stamping on this card.

The blue card I just love! Super simple, but super cute! It’s my favorite out of the bunch! The snowflake is from Cold Play and the greeting is from Happy Everything. The Craft White Ink Pad was used for the snowflakes, and the greeting was stamped in Night of Navy. All self-adhesive die cuts are raised up on Stampin’ Dimensionals, certainlly one thing I can NOT live without! I use those on just about everything! Dazzling Diamonds Glitter is added to the star on the Christmas tree. The Ticket Corner Punch is also used on both cards, love the look!

When I started on the second set of cards, I realized I had no side folding cards! That helped with the quick design of these last two cards. I used the patterned paper that comes in the kit for the layer, and used the Ticket Corner Punch on those. Then I simply cut a strip of cardstock and matted it in the appropriate colors for the cards. The greetings are on Stampin’ Dimensionals and I have tied grosgrain white ribbon with silver cording to give it some extra whimsy. The coordinating self-adhesive die cuts are then added with some ribbon/silver cording and Stampin’ Dimensionals!

Ta-Dah!! All ten cards have been designed and now I get the fun job of pre-cutting everything. haha! I am also starting a three week Advanced Fondant class at my local cake supply store! I’m SOOO excited! We’re going to be making a Topsy Turvey cake and learn new fondant techniques! It will be a nice break for me between now and my Brother-in-Law’s wedding cake.

I don’t know how you can possibly choose 1 favorite of these 10 beautiful cards, although the blue is very special! If I had to, mmmmmm…..mmmmm….I really like the sparkly gift one. But I would consider myself blessed to receive any of these. Your class participants will most certainly be WOWed. Have fun!
