Last week while I was chatting with some of my friends at SCS, Bunny mentioned that she didn’t know what to stamp. I told her to make a card with orange, just picking a random color off the top of my head. So poor Bunny went and made a card with orange, she was a good sport! I asked her if she had a color challenge for me and she picked Sage Shadow. To be honest, she was much nicer at picking a color than I was! I had just got a new pack of Sage Shadow cardstock earlier last week, so it was perfect timing. I made this card that night, but haven’t photographed it until today. So here you go:

Card base is Sage Shadow stamped tone on tone with the Dots and Daisies background, the uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen was used to color in the flowers. I wish this background made it in to the big catalog, I keep thinking about selling it and then I end up using it on several cards, so I think I’ll be keeping it! The sentiment is from Rubber Stampede, stamped in Basic Black. I found it at Michaels one day and snatched it! It’s a perfect fit for this image!

I stamped the image from Paper Salon on to Shimmery White cardstock with Palette Black Noir ink. She is then watercolored in using my Aquapainter with Watercolor Wonder Crayons and markers. I used my Sailor glue pen to stick Dazzling Diamonds glitter to all those small areas! There is glitter on her wings, wand, flowers on her dress, and on the “fairy dust” that I created easily with a black marker. I then matted the focal image on to Pretty in Pink and used scalloped scissors for the bottom. The top is faux stitching, using my Crafter’s Tool Kit and White Gel Pen.

So there ya go, Bunny! Here is my Sage Shadow Challenge card! Now, to be fair I did make an orange card this week, but you’ll have to wait until VSN to see it! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
