I keep wanting to make cupcakes, but haven’t had the time. So I had to settle for a stamped cupcake! This image is from Lockhart, and the saying is from A Muse. This is another quick card. Use computer paper to mask off the top of the card and stamp the image all over the bottom. Then stamp the image on Whisper White cardstock and punch out with the Marvy Giga Scallop Circle Punch.

The cupcake liner and cherry are colored with Real Red reinkers and an Aquapainter. I used a Sakura Gelly Roll Clear Stardust pen to outline the white frosting of the cupcake. A black marker is used to for the scallop outlining. Punched the slot for the black ric rac and threaded it thru. Note: the ends of the ric rac are adhered to the card with tape UNDER the focal image. I didn’t want to tie it in a knot since I have a hard time with neatly tying ric rac. The focal image is up on Dimensionals. The greeting is stamped and then punched out with the Word Window Punch. I then pierced two holes to attach the mini safety pin thru and added a touch of red gingham ribbon. Black StazOn ink was used for all the images.

Finished card size is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.

I figure cupcakes make any day a happy day! Hopefully I will have time to make some later this week!
