Christmas Peace

Yesterday it was Halloween, today it’s Christmas! Hahaha! But can you blame me when you have new stamps? Especially one this cute? This is from the set Peaceful Angel by TAC. I think she is darling and had to have it right away!

The card base is Bravo Burgundy stamped with Paisley background from Stampin’ Up! I used Palette Noir Black to stamp her on Shimmery White cardstock. I then used my Watercolor Wonder Crayons and Aquapainter to color her in. After that I used a black marker to handwrite “peace” on her banner. I roughed up the edges with the distressing tool from Stampin’ Up!’s Cutter Kit. I love having four tools on one key chain! I then matted her on Sage Shadow, did some faux stitching (love that uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen!!) and roughed up the edges.

I used the Horizontal Slot punch, and tied some wide ivory organdy ribbon. Then I attached the bell (that I got from Michaels) with a jump ring to the little safety pin and tied on some narrow burgundy ribbon to finish it off. I will definitely be using this set again!
