The 10 minute BOO!

I am going down to my Mom’s work to do a quick card for some of my customers who work with her. I do this every once in a while as a free goodie from me. They are really fun to stamp with and we always end up laughing. My Mom told them that we’d do a Halloween card, so this is what I came up with.

The base of the card is Green Galore with the Cheesecloth background stamped in Basic Black. I then cut a mat from Basic Black and then cut the Whisper White to fit inside it. First I stamped the spider from Booglie Eyes and then I placed a mask over his body. Next I stamped the “O” he would be hanging from in Lavendar Lace, then I finished off the word with Green Galore and Pumpkin Pie inks. After I samped the word, I took the mask off and colored in the spider. I also added little white polka dots with my uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen, just for fun! After the outlining, I added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the body of the spider.

I used a black marker for the funky outlining of the letters, the WW cardstock, and the little tabs. Speaking of the tabs, I used my Word Window Punch from Stampin’ Up! to punch them out of Lavendar Lace and Pumpkin Pie. I then folded them in half and outlined the part that would be showing. I then matted the WW on the Basic Black in a crooked fashion and then put that on the card base. Then I simply put the tabs where I want them to be, used my piercing tool to poke a hole, and added the brad!

Ta-Dah! It really is a 10 minute card! I promise!
