We’ve been gearing up for Halloween. The boys carved their pumpkins on Monday and I’ve been working on Owen’s Halloween costume. He wants to be a cat this year, so we found a pattern that will work and I’m hoping I don’t mess it up! I usually use Simplicity patterns but I couldn’t find a cat one from them, so I’m using Butterick. Wish me luck! Perrin wants to be Duke from G.I. Joe so I’m thinking I can cheat and use real clothes with some detail additions to make him Duke.

What Halloween costumes are going on in your home this year? I always say to myself that I’m going to dress up “this year” but I never give myself enough time to get mine done, too.
