I ended up taking an unexpected blog break – I’ve been unable to log into my account to post. Not sure why, and not sure why it’s finally working now but I’m glad it is!

I have lots of things that I wanted to share about this past month. It was fun having my boys off-track and getting to wake up at 8:00 or so. (Don will tell you I wake up at “or so”) haha We got to go kite flying, on a hike, create fun things for Halloween (an off-track tradition for the month of September), and we’ve been watching the landscaping going on at our home.

We are all so excited to get our front and back yard put it! We’ve been here for 8 years and it wasn’t until this year that Don really came up with a great landscape plan for the yards. We have an awesome crew working for us, and it’s coming together beautifully! We’ve been taking pictures every other day to capture the progress. It will be fun for me to put them together to share here.

But for now, I must wander back to the Land of Divine Smells. I’m making this and this and this for dinner today! One of my brothers-in-law is coming over today with his fiance for dinner! Which means we’ll probably be jamming to some Rock Band later!
