happy halloween!!
I love Halloween! This year I had fun making Jenn boxes for the boys to pass out to their class. I actually stayed up really late working on these, so right now I’m too tired to share details so I’m just going to post the pictures.
Here is a close up of their treats:
I just love this skeleton stamp! Inside each one is a Halloween PlayDoh (PlayDough? – I forget), Halloween SpongeBob fruit snacks, vampire teeth and a skeleton lollipop.
Here is the fun army shot of 40 completed Jenn boxes (Oh yeah, I LOVE my Scor-Pal!):
And since teachers deserve trick or treats, too:
I got them each that pretty Starbucks travel mug (which I got at an awesome price!), filled it with some chocolates and included a Starbucks gift certificate that is held in the tag along with a note.
Tag close up:
Last night we had an early Halloween at church. We went to Trunk or Treat, where you trick or treat in the church parking lot. They held it the day before Halloween this year, so I already have pictures of the boys all dressed up.
Perrin was a scary werewolf:
He was too cute, telling everyone he was a werewolf. One person even said “Teen Wolf! Alright!” How old is THAT movie?? Might have to rent it this weekend, now. Hahaha! Of course, I might just be amused at the idea of watching it because I’m so tired. Perrin did really good letting me paint his face. It actually looked more colored in real life than with the flash lightening it up.
Here is my scary skeleton:
You know, those skeleton costumes actually look really cool at night. Owen was having fun being scary this year. He has been trying to “scare” people for a few years but always gets “oh! you’re so cute” and no frightened reactions. This year many played along with him and he thought he was just so scary. Owen was a little reluctant to have his face painted, so we settled on a white face with black eyes and nose. No teeth. No other skull definitions. He liked it and that’s what matters.
Just for fun, here I am with my monsters:
I totally went the easy way and just threw on my Jack Skellington shirt before heading out the door. One of these days I’ll get in a costume again. Maybe ….. hahahaha!
Since we already trick or treated, we’ll enjoy staying home and passing out candy as we watch our traditional Halloween shows – It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, the Garfield Halloween show and Nightmare Before Christmas. I hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween!
