christmas card class
Today I’ll share the five cards I designed for the Christmas Card Class for my Mom’s church group. Last year I had used a Simply Scrapin’ Kit for the class, but instead, this year I was inspired by the colors from the Winter Bright scrappin’ kit. I loved the fresh color combination and found that the L’il Davis Love Affair line was similar in color combinations and too cute to pass up. You can find this line at eclectic Paperie here: L’il Davis Love Affair
The designs I used for the class are Romeo (stripes), Juliet (flower design) and Valentino (dots). Since I am no longer a Stampin’ Up! Demo, you’ll notice that I used stamps from other companies and a retired SU! set. I’ll list the stamps used for each card under the picture and at the end I’ll list the cardstock colors and inks used for the class.
Stamps: DD Vine and Berry (retired), Many Merry Messages
Stamps: Many Merry Messages, Hung Up on the Holidays
Stamps: This stamp is a part of a set from Inkadinkado by Brenda Walton found here: Reindeer
Stamps: Cold Play
Stamps: Frosting Only (cupcake) from justjohanna
Cardstock used: Real Red, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, WW, White cardstock from PaperTrey for card bases.
Inks used: Basic Black, Palette Noir Black, Real Red, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Giga Marvy Scallop Circle Punch, Mega Marvy Scallop Circle Punch, Coluzzle, paper piercer, White Gel Pen, Scallop scissors, red organdy ribbon, red grosgrain ribbon, turquoise grosgrain ribbon, red mini brads, red eyelets, white mini brads, prima flower, celery mini brad, celery grosgrain, blue grosgrain, real red button, Aqua Painter, SU! Markers: Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Green Galore, Ticket Corner punch, Stickles, Foam Tape.
