hoot!

I had lots of fun with this card! Images from justjohanna.

Card base is a notecard from A Muse. I thought this was a fun color for Big Al! I started by stamping several Big Al images with Palette Noir Black on WW cardstock. I then colored him in with Prismacolors then punched them out with my SU! circle punch.

As you can see, I had fun with punching out the images. I wanted it to look like he was peeking in from different angles to add some character to the card. Once all the Big Als were punched, I added some doodling around the circle edges and Stickles for some sparkle!

Next I stamped the word “hoot” on the open circles using the justjohanna alphabet and added polka dots to the letters. Unfortunately, right now this alphabet is only available to Design Team Members. I’ve been holding off using it for any projects and just couldn’t resist using it on this one.

Last, I adhered the circles to the card once the Stickles had dried. I thought this would be a fun all-occasion card. The “hoot” reminds me of “WOOT” which made me crack up!

I’ll be back later with some more Q&A!

So stinkin’ CUTE! I wanted to tell you I’m really bummed on me that I totally missed your birthday–I am a bad, bad blog hopper to have missed out on that. :^( So, mebbe I can make up for that a teensy tiny littlest bit, by telling you something that prolly sounds very stupid, BUT, it’s true:

Whenever I ogle and drool over pretty cupcakes and sweet things, I actually always say to myself: Pixie would know all about this! Or, Pixie would love this! Or, if Pixie were here, we could share some of this, just like we shared my birthday cake and she explained ganache (sp?) to me, which was so cool!

I really, really do that. I’m weird, huh?! But, I loves ya’, Pixie, and quite muchly!
