mmmmm….with sprinkles!
We had a fun weekend! We started with having my brother-in-law and sister-in-law over for games and dinner on Friday night, and ending with my brother and three of our good friends coming over for games last night! It gave me an excuse to try out a super yummy cupcake recipe that my good friend Amy (Propecia) shared with us HYENas over at splitcoaststampers.
It was fun to have my sister-in-law try her hand at using the decorator bag and decorating tip to frost the cupcakes. It makes it really easy and isn’t as intimidating as it may look when you see somebody getting it ready. After we frosted the cupcakes we put some yummy rainbow colored jimmies on top! You can’t eat a plain cupcake! *wink*
Here is Pro’s recipe for the yummy cupcakes:
Pro’s Strawberry Cupcakes
White cake mix
3 egg whites
1/3 cup oil
1-1/4 c strawberry soda
Bake at 350 15-20 minutes
Thanks for sharing your recipe, Pro!!!
(I have some fun ideas to try this with other flavors of soda, too!! hehehehe!)

OK, that makes me want to make a pot of coffee and grab one of those babies!!! Its so cold and yucky here today I could use a little “pick me up”. Thanks for sharing!
Oh I am going to have to try making some of these for valentines day…
I will have to try this recipe, sounds yummy. I have never really given cupcakes that much thought and now am seeing them everywhere! I make lots of them, but am now going to have to step up my decorating them myself. I usually let the kids do it. Ü
